Tree Frog Art Tile 4x4

Tree Frog Art Tile 4x4
Bring a touch of nature's agility into your home with the Tree Frog Art Tile. Originally hand-sculpted by Rick Pruckler, this 4x4" tile captures the inquisitive eyes of a tree frog tucked amidst foliage. Each piece is hand-pressed in our Michigan studio using locally sourced porcelain and finished with Rick’s proprietary, small-batch glazes. Because we work in small batches, every tile features subtle variations in the glaze, ensuring your piece is a one-of-a-kind original that serves as a stunning focal point for any nature-inspired space.
Product Specifications and Installation This tile measures approximately 3.75" x 3.75" (nominal 4x4") with a dramatic high-relief of 1" or less. It is designed for maximum versatility, featuring a built-in notch on the back for immediate display as sculptural wall art. Crafted from museum-quality porcelain and fired to nearly 2230°F, the tile is fully vitrified, moisture-resistant, and heat-resistant. This makes it an ideal specification for permanent architectural installations, such as bathroom shower niches, kitchen backsplashes, or sunroom murals. For outdoor use in freezing climates, simply ensure the tile is installed or displayed vertically.
Handcrafted Quality and Community Impact Every Tree Frog tile follows a meticulous maker’s process: hand-sculpted from an original design, cast in a plaster mold, hand-pressed, and double-fired for lasting durability. At Whistling Frog Gallery, we believe in decorative/purposeful art; a percentage of every sale is donated to the community organizations listed on our website. Our tiles are made to order and ship from our Michigan studio in under two weeks. Whether given as a gift for housewarmings or used as a unique architectural accent, this piece is a testament to independent artistry and a love for the natural world.
