At Whistling Frog Tile, we have a long history of architectural tile installations. We make custom shapes and sizes and profiles to meet almost any application. All of our architectural work is made to order so we don't maintain an inventory of field tile. We also have an extended glaze palette for architectural tile beyond what is available through our gift tile line.

Project minimum of $2,000

Many of our custom projects are for kitchen back splashes and counters. Tile is the perfect surface for behind counters and stoves. A well designed back splash will visually connect all the elements present in the kitchen. Oftentimes a simple pattern is suitable. Tiled stove backs are an elegant solution, both practical and beautiful.

Each custom Arts and Crafts Tile fireplace we make is a one of a kind installation. We can work from existing or blueprint dimensions to create a set of hand formed tiles that are custom sized to fit. It takes about 3-6 months to complete a project from the time of conception to the final installation. Our hand made floor tile can be designed for use as a solid floor surface or combined with other flooring materials. Above, you can see a hand made design which has been inset into a cherry wood floor.
