Rabbit Chasing Dog Art Tile 4x4"
The Rabbit Chasing Dog Art Tile is a delightful piece that captures the playful energy of a dog's life, making it a perfect functional art piece for any dog owner's home.
For the Tile Installation & Renovation Customer (Dog Lovers): Searching for a unique accent to reflect your love for dogs? This nominal 4x4" porcelain tile is the ideal size and material for permanent installation in key areas:
Kitchen Backsplash: Place it near the sink or in the main field for a heartwarming, custom focal point.
Mudroom or Laundry Room: A durable, whimsical touch for the area where pet gear and paws often reside.
Bathroom Niche: A fun, unexpected detail for a powder room or pet-washing station.
Sculpted by Tonya, the tile's high-relief detail and specialized glaze resist moisture and ensure lasting quality, giving your renovation project a truly personalized, artisan finish.
For the Dog Lover & Gift Buyer: While perfect for installation, this charming tile also makes an excellent unique gift for dog owners, dog breeders, or veterinarians. It comes with a notch on the back for easy display as lighthearted wall art.
Materials: made in Michigan porcelain and Rick's specially formulated glaze. Using Rick's time tested recipes, we make small batches of glaze. Working small like we do, allows for variations in the glazes, creating one of a kind pieces. All of our tiles are handmade in our Michigan studio. This tile measures 3.75 x 3.75”, nominal size-4x4", with raised relief of .5" or less.
There is a notch on back for hanging, yet if you wish to install, it's also suitable for that too. If used outdoors in freezing temperatures, just make sure to keep it vertical. Purchase our 4x4" tile stand separately.
Here’s a quick ‘How’s it made?’ breakdown: We sculpt the original design, make a plaster mold, press in clay, wait for drying, fire in kiln, glaze, fire again to about 2230 degrees and then cool.
We donate a percentage of each tile sold to one of the organizations listed on the 'Community' page of our website. Check it out. It’s feel good time!
